I'm Tired of Being Wrong

I have had to quit watching television quiz shows. My mental health can no longer stand always being wrong. It must be a sign of age and fatigue because I used to be able to be corrected over and over and over and over. But these days I find myself making more and more mistakes. It is most likely a mistake to talk about my mistakes. But they are so overwhelming. I am so thankful for spellcheckers. However sometimes I make the mistake of forgetting to use it.

Have you ever had the feeling that you cannot do anything right? I was going to use the word "can't" but realized that would be a mistake to use in writing. It is only for speech. But then I wrote "can not" and the computer immediately put a green line under it telling me I was wrong. "Can not" is "cannot." I did remember to put the quotes outside the punctuation at the close of the last sentence. But when I started the last sentence my fingers got off the home keys and I had a line of mistakes.

Thank God for Jesus. He forgives our mistakes. Actually mistakes and sins are two different things. I like to call my sins mistakes because then they don't seem so bad. (Opps, I used the word "don't.) But whatever we want to call them He blots them out. Isaiah tells us about that in 43:25, "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more." I love that verse!
