My Clean Kitchen

Thinking to help my wife I noticed the dishwasher needed to be run. Opening the cupboard beneath the sink I discovered we were out of automatic dishwasher soap. But there was dishwasher soap for hand washing dishes. Thinking I was being resourceful I filled up the soap dispenser in the automatic washer with it, started the washer and went back to my studies.

About a half an hour passed by and I walked through the kitchen. Wow! You should have seen the suds. It was incredible. A small mountain of bubbles had flowed from the inner recesses of that automatic washer. It looked like the kitchen was taking a bubble bath. It was something that should have been an episode of "I Love Lucy."

I must say the kitchen is very clean now. It is cleaner than clean. I never knew how much suds could come from a cup of dishwasher soap.

That kitchen was almost as clean as we are after Jesus forgives us of our sins. Because "if we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9
