No Mandy
Our dogs name is
Mandy. Tonight we discovered our 20 month old granddaughter
thinks her name is No-Mandy, which tells us how
often we have been saying that this past week. At least she
doesnt think my name is No-Grandpa.
But it did cause me to
wonder if in heaven my name is No-Roger. How
many times has God been watching us and has exclaimed,
No, as we go about doing something
foolish.
I wondered if our
granddaughter ever thought the dogs name was
good dog. I do say that a lot to her. And I also
hope God can look at us and say, Good. He did
say that at the end of the days of creation. Most likely at
Second Coming of our Lord Jesus we will hear Good
job as rescues us from this world of pain and loss.
Those would be great words to hear.
In Jesus parable of
the master who left talents with his servants we do read
these words, "His master replied, 'Well done, good and
faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things;
I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your
master's happiness!' Matt. 25:21 What great joy it will be
to hear Him say those things about us.
