Back To Home Page To Archives - Spring of Life - H. Roger Bothwell My Driver's License Picture Most of my friends complain about their driver's license picture. They make comments about holding up a number and having it on the wall of the post office. However I really like mine. It is probably the best picture I have ever had taken. It certainly beats all those school pictures when I was a little boy and it is much much better than the ones I take myself to post on my website. I like going into the bank to cash a check because I get to show it to the teller. It's kind of disappointing when the teller says, "Mr. Bothwell, I know you. You don't have to show me that." What a let down! The next time you see me please do me a favor and ask to see my driver's license. You will make my day. I figure that Jesus is like the bank teller. He doesn't need to see it. He knows me. In Matthew 10 He says, "But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven." What a wonderful thought. Jesus will bear witness for us. He will speak in our behalf before the Father. To be a good witness one must have good information. I'm sure Jesus makes sure everything He says about us is true and He can do that because He really does know us well. We will not have to show our driver's license at the door of heaven.
