An Incredible Day

I had an incredible day of marvelous events accompanied by a minor disaster. Today we added a second grandson to the family. That alone would make this a banner day for us. But to top it off we attended a birthday party for our first grandson. That would make this a banner day. So this was a double super day. Now for the disaster, at the birthday party my son's camera's battery went dead. "Don't worry," I said, "my camera is here." But in the middle of the candle blowing my camera froze. Now I cannot retrieve the data from the disk. I know I have some great pictures. I just can't get to them. I will keep trying. There has to be a way.

Isn't it interesting that some data in life we want to keep and other data we want to lose? We can erase computer files but they are still there. Experts know how to pull them back out of the abyss. It is most disconcerting to think someone in the universe is keeping track of all our sins. When I was a little boy I thought that being was in heaven. The truth is God needs no record to condemn me. I have done a good job of that. Fortunately Jesus has done a great job of redeeming me and that's the only data heaven needs. The rest is meaningless.

But speaking of stored data. A new account has been opened. His name is Barrett Bothwell and this was a good day.

I'm Roger Bothwell and my address is roger.bothwell@verizon.net or 151 Old Farm Rd. Leominster, MA 01453. Thank you for your support of our faith ministry.
